Blues hit 4 away
The Blues returned from the long journey down to Fleet with another three points to add to their collection following a comprehensive victory against Fleet Whites.
The Blues were only able to field the minimum nine players but from the first whistle they set their stall out and played some brilliant football.
Urged on by a great travelling support the Blues found themselves two goals to the good following strikes from Keeley and Caloe. Numerous chances were missed, saved by the Fleet keeper, hit the post/bar or disallowed for offside but the girls continued to mount wave after wave of attack.
Fleet did pull one back just before half time with a low shot but Syd almost restored the two goal lead after a great run down the left which saw her curling right foot shot go inches wide of the far post.

The second half saw Fleet really come into the game and it took a brave save from Maisie to keep the scores as they were.
However it was only a matter of time before the superior fitness of the Blues began to tell and with two further goals from Caloe who completed a hat trick, it was a convincing if not spectacular performance. The score line would have been much higher but for another three goals to be ruled offside.
Manager Joe Fazzino said after the game “This was why I'm so honoured to be part of this great group of players. We were short on numbers but big on belief and commitment which is why we keep on grinding out results. Every one of those nine players today gave it their all and I can't ask for anything else from them. We face Rushmoor next week which will be a tough game but I know my girls will leave no stone unturned in the quest for the title".
