U12 Blues go out in the semi-final

When Adenya hit the cross bar in the opening minutes, it looked as though a dream result might be ours for the taking.

For 25 minutes the Blues matched their opponents, and even a Wimbledon goal just before half time didn't unsettle them.

But Wimbledon showed why they are at the top of the Premier Division, and they played the better football in the second half, with 2 more goals. The Palace girls never gave up, though, and every attack got loud support from the Palace supporters. We had chances, but so did they. And the Cup run came to an end.

Disappointment? Yes, a bit. But pride too - first season semi-finalists!
