                                    Crystal Palace Ladies FC AGM

                                         TUESDAY 24th JUNE 2014.


This will be at The Lodge at the Sports Centre at Crystal Palace and will start at 1930.
 
 
 
The meeting is specifically designed to vote in a new committee for next season.
All 5 constitutionally required posts are up for election and any willing, able and suitable candidates are invited for nomination. The closing date for nominations is Tuesday 17th June. Any person happy to be nominated will need to be present on the night and will need to represented by a proposer and a seconder. All nominations to be submitted to Richard or John by email please. All club members are entitled to vote on each of these elected positions
 
The positions available under our club constitution are as below and all voluntary and unpaid.
 
Chairman. Ideally requires basic knowledge of the football structure, laws of the game and current FA policy and guidelines for youth, adult and women's football. The ability to develop and maintain partnerships with outside agencies such as League, FA, sponsors and other organisations essential to club running. Flexibility around availability would be a good help as many partnership meetings tend to happen during work day hours.
Current time allocation is an average of 12-15 hours per week.
 
Vice Chairman. The ability to cover the role of Chairman. Role capabilities as above, with the ability to work closely with the chairman, albeit must be able to work independently in order that all considerations are taken into account and the full picture is considered. Estimated hours per week 12-15
 
Treasurer. A sound financial understanding. Organised and accurate working practices allowing for transparent and accountable decision making processes to be evidenced. Basic accounting skills (income and expenditure ledgers and accounts preparation. Partnership working with our providers and suppliers. Estimated hours per week 5-10
 
Secretary. We are looking to consider the continuation of a separate junior and adult club secretarial role. Requires a highly organised approach to workload that can vary in quantity. The ability it deal with issues as they arise and ensure that the right people are aware of their responsibilities in respect of any administration issues that arise. Occasional attendance at league and FA meetings are required. The ability to fit the role around existing commitments is essential. The role is often the front line of how official bodies see the club and it is therefore essential that the duties are performed with professionalism, punctuality and pride. Estimated 5-7 hours per week
 
Minutes Secretary. To cover club meetings and produce accurate and well presented minutes reflecting the content of the meetings. Meetings occur every second month in general.
 
The club has a host of other roles available, including fixtures secretary, fund-raising, PR, website coordinator and CPFC liaison point. These will be confirmed following the forming of the elected committee places above.
