                                                    Cplfc U9s
Welcome to the page for all the info on the U9s

After a successful turnout at our trials in May and keeping in conjunction with Cplfc policy of trying to offer and encourage girls to play football we decided that we had enough girls at our trials to form a new U9s team and give those girls the opportunity to join Cplfc
The Surrey Women and Girls Football League have formed a new U9 division  for season 2013/14 and it will  be played as a 4 a side non competetive format.
We wish the newly formed U9s along with their new  Coach Nesta all the best for the coming season

The girls played brilliantly Catlin and Charlotte played well together in defence passing the ball very well to Remmi and Azeriah. Azeriah was great in stopping the goals and Remmi was solid in defence and up front too. Girls I am so proud of you all as you take in what you learn in training and the results show in your match games too so you all continue to do so.

The girls played amazingly well with some great teamwork and great passing enabling them to get most of the goals. Lydia was solid in defence, with some fantastic clearances, as was Shantasia who made some streaking break through from defence narrowly missing scoring several times. Alexi's and Sophie's ability to find the back of the net was impressive as ever. The games were a real pleasure to watch and their team spirit and sportsmanship was wonderful - well done girls! (Reviewed by Alex – Sophie’s mum – Thanks)…..

Well done to both teams the totals goals for the tournament 23 goals: Alexi - 9 goals, Sophie - 6 goals, Azeriah – 2 goals, Remmi – 2 goals, Catlin – 2 goals and Charlotte 2 goals. Another fantastic job by all and I am very happy with all the excellent work you all put in training and on match days.

Sophie I would like to say “Big Thank-you” for showing both Captains their task yesterday.
